» What is Clean-Cities Atlanta?
Clean-cities Atlanta is a non-profit organization striving to advance the economic, environmental and energy security of the United States by supporting local decisions to adopt practices that contribute to the reduction of petroleum consumption in the transportation sector. On a national scale, Clean Cities Coordinators lead local geographically-based coalitions composed of private companies, fuel suppliers, local governments, vehicle manufacturers, national laboratories, state and federal government agencies, and other organizations that focus on a united goal: petroleum reduction. There are nearly 100 Coalitions covering areas where 229 million U.S. citizens live—approximately 78% of the country's total population.
